The Haúßer Hearth Newsletter
The Haúßer Hearth is the Association’s twice-yearly (January and July) newsletter.
The Haúßer Hearth celebrates the extended family of Martin Haúßer/Hauser, Sr. and his wife, Maria Margaretha (Schäfer) Haúßer/Hauser.
Martin Haúßer, Sr. and Maria emigrated from Alsace, France, to Philadelphia in 1727. Seven of their sons and grandsons have been honored as Revolutionary War Patriots by the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Currently we believe our family’s direct-line male ancestral history traces back to one Christan Húser who was born before 1527 in the village of Beringen, Canton Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
The Haúßer Hearth newsletter is sent to all members of the H4FA.
